Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and InvestmentNews selected H.D. Vest Advisor Gus Petsas as one of three finalists for the Community Leadership Award. Gus was recognized for his work with the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond, CA.

Winners will be announced September 9. The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation will donate $10,000 to the charity of each category’s honoree. It will also donate $500 to each of the finalists’ charities.

Gus has been an active Advisory Consultant for more than 12 years. He affiliated with H.D. Vest Financial Services^® in 1997, and for the past seven years, Gus has been invited to the Premier Advisors’ Forum. In addition to running a successful practice and helping his clients pursue their goals, Gus serves on the Bay Area Rescue Mission as chairman of the board, a position he has held for the past five years. Prior to his chairmanship, he was a board member for nine years.
